In the centre of our celebration was Holy Mass with the Vicar General Fr Simpasa as a main celebrant. We will be celebrating 60 years of the existence of our Hospital on the 11ht October 2024. We invite all who have passed through Mpanshya to celebrate with us. We want to thank you for all your contributions and for all the support that you have given us throughout the years. All support and contributions of monetary or medical equipment for the improvement of our institution are welcome.
New ICU/ HDU
St. Lukes Mission Hospital Mpanshya is building an intensive care unit (ICU) / high-dependency-unit (HDU) care with the help of Afriqua Foundation. We are yet to receive medical equipments for the some department. Every contribution is welcome.
Orthopedic doctors from Poland
Four orthopedic doctors from Poland visited two hospitals, St. Luke’s – Mpanshya and Katondwe Mission Hospital, for a week in November 2023. The team, led by Dr. Bartek Osadnik, included Dr. Adam Fraciszek Cymbalak, Dr. Szymon Henryk Pietrzak, and Dr. Lukasz Da Wid Wiktor. During their visit, they performed surgeries and provided medical assistance to the patients at both hospitals.

Every year on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11th, we celebrate World Day of the Sick. Observation of the day was started by Pope John Paul II as a way for believers to offer prayers for those who are sick.
